The Association Conducts a Panel Discussion at King Faisal University Entitled: “The Role of Faculty Members in Promoting Ethics Among Students”

The Association, in partnership with the Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance at King Faisal University, conducted a panel discussion on Tuesday, 25 Jumada Al-Akhirah 1447 AH, corresponding to December 16, 2025, on the role of faculty members in promoting ethics among students. This initiative comes as part of the Association’s efforts to support the values framework within higher education institutions and to strengthen the role of faculty members in fostering ethical behavior among students. 

The panel discussion aimed to equip faculty members with the knowledge and skills that contribute to achieving the “values” dimension among students, thereby enhancing their ability to develop ethical commitment and to link values with educational practices and daily decision-making.

The discussion addressed several key themes, including:

• The concept of values and their dimensions within the educational process, and the challenges associated with their application in the university environment.

• The importance of promoting values among students and the role of faculty members and trainers as role models.

• The key components of the ethics framework in educational institutions, and the impact of policies and procedures in supporting it.

• Ethical decision-making and the evaluation of alternatives in various academic situations.

• Effective teaching strategies and methods for instilling values among students.

• Measuring the achievement of learning outcomes related to values, and mechanisms for assessment and follow-up.
The session witnessed active engagement from participants and received high evaluations across performance dimensions. In concluding the session, the Association affirmed its commitment to continuing the implementation of high-quality initiatives and programs that contribute to strengthening values and ethics in higher education institutions.
