Tools & Checklists

The Association is working on developing tools that will assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in implementing ethical practices. These tools include:

1. Code of Ethics Template
A document outlining the organization’s values, principles, and expectations for employee behavior. This serves as a foundation for ethical decision-making.

2. Ethical Decision-Making Framework
A step-by-step guide that helps employees and management evaluate choices based on ethical considerations, including identifying stakeholders, assessing impacts, and consulting company policies.

3. Islamic Determinants of Business Ethics
A guide outlining the principles and values derived from Islamic Sharia, which direct behavior and transactions in the field of business and trade.

4- Risk Assessment Tools
Software or templates that help identify areas where ethical lapses are likely to occur, such as supply chain vulnerabilities or conflicts of interest.

5- Compliance Checklists
Detailed lists of regulatory and legal requirements, helping businesses ensure adherence to laws and industry standards while promoting ethical practices.

6. Stakeholder Engagement Tools
Surveys, focus groups, or platforms that enable dialogue with stakeholders, such as employees, customers, and suppliers, to align business practices with ethical expectations.

7. Whistleblower Systems
Anonymized reporting mechanisms, such as hotlines or digital platforms, that encourage employees to report unethical behavior without fear of retaliation.

8. Diversity and Inclusion Checklists
Guidelines to ensure fair hiring, promotion practices, and equal opportunities for all employees, fostering a culture of respect and equality.

9. Environmental Impact Assessment Tools
Resources to measure and mitigate the organization’s environmental footprint, including carbon calculators and sustainability benchmarks.

10. Monitoring and Audit Tools
Systems or external audit services that periodically evaluate the organization’s adherence to ethical standards and provide recommendations for improvement.

These tools and checklists empower businesses to integrate ethical principles into their operations systematically and sustainably.
